I am no stranger to physical therapy. During my twenties I sustained a back injury that led to a brief hospitalization. As a result, I’ve lived with chronic lower back for the last ten years and have tried every type of treatment you can think of to keep the pain in check and function normally. But after ten years I can tell you that two things worked more than the pain-killers and the prospect of spinal surgery: physical therapy and CBD.
Physical therapy involves treatments that focus on prevention and management of injuries or disabilities. For me, physical therapy was perhaps the best method, next to cannabis and CBD to relieve pain and promote healing for my back. Working directly with a physical therapist I was able to strengthen my back and get to a place where I can manage my symptoms with more natural methods.
